Entry into the tech sector offers endless opportunities for advancement and skill development. Most BCS (Bachelor of Computer Science) graduates compete in over-saturated markets for positions at Fortune 500 companies, neglecting other lucrative opportunities.
Large corporations to small businesses need tech professionals to support operations as well, and often have the budget for strong compensation. Getting a start in a tech position is a strategic way to advance on the job and gain the experience new-graduates lack, which hiring managers seek.

Depending on your path, the earning potential for tech professionals ranges from $40,000 up to (and beyond) $150,000 annually.

Earning Potential
Salaries within the Business sector are highly variable.
On the higher end, Sales Professionals have the greatest earning potential depending on their skill and the value of the service or product they are responsible for selling. Salaries are often commission-based, and could range from $50,000 – $150,000 annually.
Project and/or Business Administrators have the potential to earn between $50,000 – $120,000 per year, while those with Business or Computerized Accounting skills could earn between $40,000 – $90,000 annually.
